This mixed and friendly group is for those who have always wanted to run but just don’t know how, recovering from an injury or if you have just had a baby and want to slowly get your fitness back. No experience is required.
Our courses are held over eight weeks with the last week being the 5K run.
Our team are on hand to guide you from 0 – 5K with tips on technique, breathing, what to eat and when and we even help you with which shoes would suit you best.
The sessions have a gentle start. We start with running for 30 seconds and then over the weeks we build it up to running for 35 minutes. We have had over 500 runners complete our beginners courses and have been hugely proud of their achievements.
We offer online support with motivational emails and facebook updates along with a little homework each week.
The sessions are lead by our team of experienced England Athletics coaches; Ellie Brown, Carly O’Hara, Yasia Leedham Williams, Laura Dunster and Sarah Foster
Our groups are fun and friendly and the emphasis is on support and camaraderie.
